This book was painstakingly slow for me. It took me about 3 weeks to read, because I kept putting it aside to read other things. The premise of the book, on the jacket cover, drew me in to the story. The book itself was not as exciting. I did like the book overall. It just took time for me to get into the story from the way it was told.
