We Are the Goldens

We Are the Goldens - Dana Reinhardt I want to find Dana Reinhardt & shake her till she finishes the story!! I feel like the Fault in Our Stars characters! I am willing to tire out the post man to send her letters!!

How dare she write a book that just runs away with your imagination & emotions! She did an excellent job but with that ending I could slap her silly!! She just ran right away with my heart! I mean what on Earth was that?!?! How could you just write such a heart wrenching story & then just... welp bye! Serious?!? I need Dana to explain herself!!

This is an amazing read especially for siblings who are close, not close, used to be close or if you ever wanted a sibling but never got one. The view point is from a babbling sister (Nell) who is completely coming into her own being by the telling of the story. She has an older sister (Layla) whom she has built a relationship that was perfect. However, as she starts to see the cracks in the relationships her world is going into meltdown. It felt like she was being told to evacuate a burning building while still holding a phone conversation for a new kidney.

Nell's life goes from love to what in the world is happening here & she handles it better than I thought she would. Now all I need is a sequel DANA Reinhardt!! LoL
